Using The Latino Vote in Fraudulent Ways…
Posted April 11, 2015 by Deb L Gordils

As America calls for less and less protection over the ballot box during elections, I worry Hispanics whether citizens or not are being used to manipulate the vote count. Many Latinos in America work more than 40 hours a week and struggle to find free time to do other things including verifying their vote counted. When a person moves from one address to another, in Chicago and many other large cities the Board of Elections sends an official ballot to both the old address and the new. In some cases citizens who have moved 4 times in 10 years have 4 official ballots mailed to each polling place. In Chicago Cook County Clerk David Orr acknowledges the voter rolls are "dirty" but claims they can not be cleaned due to financial restraints. Heavy work schedules and lack of information rearding their voting history means no follow up to a cast vote. Records show that many voters appear to have voted at multiple polling places, I myself have been a victim of someone voting on an official ballot delivered to an old voting location from a prior address so I know fradulent use of these ballots occur. Unfortunately no one has time to veify their voting status after an election and the Board of Elections at least in Chicago has no plans of changing a pattern the minimizes the electoral process for it's citizens.
