ILRNHA Elects New Executive Committee; State Senator Kirk Dillard Congratulates ILRNHA

ELGIN, IL - The Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Illinois (IL RNHA) elected its new Executive Committee at its Biennial Convention on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Elgin, Illinois. In addition, by unanimous voice vote, the membership elected two members to represent the chapter at the National Convention of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

The new Executive Committee is comprised of the following members:

Chairman - John M. Guevara

Vice-Chairman – Liandro Arellano, Jr.

Secretary - Gloria Cardenas Cudia

Treasurer - Benjamin Ordoñez

National Committeewoman - Gloria Campos

National Committeeman- Rafael Rivadeneira

"Changes are made by those who show up,” said State Rep. John Cabello at the convention. “We have to fight.” Newly elected IL RNHA Chairman John Guevara added, "We have to prove that we're not only on the right, but that we are in the right."

In addition to all of the Republican leaders who spoke at the 2013 IL RNHA Biennial State Convention, State Senator Kirk Dillard offered these words: "Congratulations to the IL chapter of the RNHA on your 2013 convention. I'm sorry I can't be with you today to share in your success. I enjoyed speaking to you last summer and look forward to working with you as we march Republicans to victory in 2014. God bless you and God bless the great state of Illinois."
